• Oversee the processing of orders for eyeglasses and contact lenses, including prescription verification and order coordination with suppliers..
• Manage inventory levels of eyewear frames, lenses, contact lenses, and optical accessories..
• Assist in setting and achieving sales targets for the optical department, monitoring performance, and implementing strategies to meet goals..
• Work to ensure the efficient flow of optical services, including appointments, eyewear fittings, and order fulfilment..
• Oversee billing processes, insurance claims, and payment handling for optical services..
• Support staff development through training, performance evaluations, and ongoing education about optical products and services..
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations, standards, and guidelines related to eyecare services..
